In Eco Summer Pasture (katun), as well as in all arrangements we organize, national cuisine occupies a special part. We try to present to our guests authentic menu of the mountaineous Montenegro in the best possible way. Allour specialities are product of our family farm. You can also be a part of our family, by participating in the village and summer pasture (katun) chores during your stay with us!

We point out from the menu: Kolašin kačamak (cooked corn flower with added milk and cheese) in two ways, “cicvara” (special pie), “popara” (cooked bread with spices), lamb baked in iron pan, steamed lamb and lamb prepared with cooked milk (varenica), meat prepared village style, roasted lamb, potato baked in iron pan (sač) or cooked potato in a kettle on pothooks, cream with domestic bread baked in iron pan (sač), domestic barbecue sausage, cheese, rich cheese (kajmak), fermented milk and many other things.

Our menu also offers forest specialties: forest fruit, mushrooms and a large number of teas.

We also produce home-made juices, as well as all kinds of domestic brandies, honey, dairy products and meat.

The production method is organic right from the start. And the most important part, the size of dishes is not limited!

Winter hiking on snowshoes

In times passed-by snow on the mountains was conquered by using special footwear called – KRPLJE (snowshoes).

This is an ideal chance to conquer mountaineous vastness using traditional snowshoes, free yourself from stress and enjoy domestic cuisine specialties;
The excursion can be one-and several days long. To the mountain tops of Bjelasicawe shall go using ski-lift, where from we use snowshoes to Eco Summer Pasture (katun) Vranjak. In the Eco Summer Pasture (katun) mountain tea awaits us, cooked wine and brandy and homelike lunch – kačamak (cooked corn flower with milk and cheese) and fermented milk.

For the remainder of the road we can use snowshoes or snowmobile. In the afternoon hours we arrive to ski center, where from transport has been organized back to Kolašin.

Regarding several days long tours, accomodation and meals have been organized in Eco Summer Pasture (katun) Vranjak or in the mountain house „Rudanca“ on the slopes of Tara canyon.

Winter safari on snowmobile

For lovers of winter sports and snow spells this is an excellent opportunity to reach intact snows on mountains Bjelasica, Sinjajevina and Durmitor. The excursion starts at Ski center1450 Kolašin or in the village Lipovo. We use snowmobile for ups and slopes, visit mountain tops and photographexceptional photo frames. We visit summer pastures (katuns), where we shall have a picnic and cook domestic tea with honey and rum.

The excursion lasts one or several days.

In arrangements lasting several days, accommodation has been organized in Eco summer pasture (katun) „Vranjak“, mountain house in village „Rudanca“ on the rim of Tare canyon, or in boarding houses in Žabljak and Kolašin.

Minimum number of participants is 2.

Survival

We offer you several days long survival programs in the nature, during winter and summer time. During 5 days of arrangement duration you shall be asked to resolve special tasks and reach the end point where special award is waiting for you. Shelter building and food collection are monitored by experienced guides! Medical assitance in case of need has been secured.

For groups of 4 to 10 persons.

For all mountains lovers this is an ideal way to “charge their batteries” and free themselves from harmful matters, an unavoidable consequence of the modern way of living. We offer you an opportunity to free yourself from stress on our several- or one-day hiking programes, to enjoy the abundance of national specialities, to get acquainted with beautiful mountaineous landscapes, drink water from mountain wells and to be a part of mountaineous life of Montenegro.

Arrangements are one- and several-days long. They can be combined with rafting on Tara and with Photo-safari excursions to Montenegrin mountains.

Prices are negotiable, depending on the size of the group and arrangement duration.
